What back to back installation means

The indoor unit goes on the inside of an outside wall, and the outdoor unit goes directly behind it on the outside. It is the simplest install, and it is what the Black November price includes.

If the outdoor unit needs to go somewhere else, or your site needs anything extra, those items are charged at our standard rates. You will confirm extras and positioning with our team before any work starts.

Black November questions

Black November prices are for units installed back to back within 40km of Midrand. You confirm your installation address is in this area at checkout. If you are further out, WhatsApp us on 061 413 8842 and we can advise.

Installs are booked in the order payments come in. Once you have paid, our team will contact you to confirm your install date.

The price covers the unit and a back to back installation. Copper piping (R300 per metre), trunking (R275 per 3m length), a condensate pump, ladder hire above one storey and the electrical connection to the distribution board are extra and depend on your site. You can estimate them with our aircon calculator.

Every aircon should be on its own circuit breaker at the distribution board, and your electrician does that connection – either before or after the install. Units up to 18000BTU can run off the nearest plug point in the meantime, and we leave a lead for your electrician. We can recommend an electrician if you need one.

Samsung – 2 year comprehensive and 10 year compressor warranty (up to 5 years comprehensive when registered).
Midea – 2 year comprehensive and 10 year compressor warranty (up to 7 years comprehensive when registered).
Alliance – 1 year comprehensive and 5 year compressor warranty.
Comfee – 1 year comprehensive and 3 year compressor warranty.

All warranties are subject to annual maintenance and qualified installation.
